I have produced over 24 episodes of Perspectives throughout my 2 years working for Channel NewsAsia. In hindsight, it is a lot of fun and as a producer the important part is always making sure all four panellists and moderator shows up to the pre-show meeting or lunch. I can often relax and breath after that’s settled. I’m always grateful that I had the opportunity to work with such a professional crew. We call them the OB crew – Outside Broadcast crew. Without fail they always arrive 4-5 hours before show time to wheel in their heavy and big equipment which include lights, cameras and a sound panel.(There are some time lapses of the set up and breakdown of the equipment in the video above).
