Get out of your bubble! The world needs more risk takers.
Of course it’s not easy. That’s meant to be to point. Get out of your comfort zone. Do it while you’re young.
I did it. I am still doing it. I’m uncomfortable and on the edge everyday. It’s tough at times but it sure as hell is better than staying in one spot watching leaves change colour & fall off trees. It’s a journey to build on that grit.
Lately I’ve by inspired by entrepreneurship and although I am not an entrepreneur some of the qualities and traits that make up one are what I admire.
In Silicon Valley, the cost of failure is so low that it is seen as a badge of honour. The spirit of getting up and trying to start a company from scratch is celebrated. But in the Asia region, with Asian values, the cost of failure is often high. I’m not just pinning this down to Asia, it’s high in Australia too (where I grew up).
